Whats pre-construction all about?
Pre-Construction
Meet with the sales consultant and establish the right home for you. The sales consultant briefs our designers and work commences on your design sketch. Our estimators then do the sums and work out a price to build your home. After the sketch and price are presented, you need to sign the Preparation of Plans Agreement (PPA) and pay the PPA fee. Your project can then be accepted by our office, and the Survey and Engineers Site Inspection Report is ordered.
Your Preliminary Plans are prepared, and a Prestart Meeting is scheduled. Earthwork quotes to complete your project’s siteworks are requested. Prestart Meeting then takes place with your New Home Administrator, then work begins on your Working Drawings. These are then submitted for Shire approval. Contract documents are prepared for you to sign, once your contracts are signed we will forward a copy of the signed contract to your financial institution. After your contracts are signed, finance is unconditional, your electricity and gas accounts numbers are in place and you’ve finished your internal selections, we apply for housing indemnity insurance and Water Authority approval.
Shire approval received. Your home’s documentation is prepared for our construction team. Once all paperwork is in place, we’re ready to start building and move onto post construction.
